requirements to obtain a seaplane rating?
As an add on to your pilots license, the applicants must hold at least a Private Pilot Certificate with an Airplane category rating and a current medical certificate.
HOw long will the training take?
Approximately 6-10 hours of flight instruction, approximately 1.5 hours of ground school and approximately 1-2 hours check ride prep. Followed by your FAA oral exam and check ride (separate fee).
We also offer local seaplane flights. The aircraft is a 2 person (pilot and guest) for $275 hr. This is a great opportunity to see the local area from the air! Contact us today to book your site seeing adventure.
We provide tail dragger endorsements in the off season.
